Competition Licence
We require that all participants are in possession a licence issued by The IOPD which is a body empowered by statute 1371 and authorised by the Secretary of state for the regulation of off- highway auto events. These are available at a cost of £25 for an Annual Licence or £15 for a day licence directly online from the IOPD using the link below. Please note that if purchasing an annual pass you should do so with enough time for it to be posted out. Day passes are sent via email so we would advise that you purchase yours be the end of the week so that you may still contact IOPD should there be a problem of some sort. If you are not able to produce your card/code at the event or have booked it for the incorrrect date then you must purchase another correct one. You will be able to purchase annual licence on the day as an emergency backup for a cost of £30.

Competition Licence Form – Complete your licence application online prior to the event.

Competition Plates
You are required to display competition plates (30x25cm) with your competition numbers on the side of your vehicle throughout the event. We advise that you mount your stickers on magnetic plates if you wish to remove them between events. We will provide a set of numbered competition plates to each competitor at their first event free of charge to use over the course of the year. If you need replacement numbers for the event then you can order them HERE but you must have ordered them by Monday 1st August in order for them to be printed in time.
Catering & Facilities
Food will be available throughout the weekend from the cafe. If you are eating at the cafe for lunch then please try and get over once you have finished your run to avoid forming long queues once lunchtime officially starts.
Live Results & Layout
We’ll be operating live timing throughout the event which you can find on the link below.
The live timing page is spilt into 3 different tabs
Live – Cars on track during the current run, note that this view will only display the top 50 cars.
Start List – Times for everyone on the event which is set to class order.
Ranking – Overall results for the event, Class T & Z entries will be grouped underneath the main entry field
If you set a time and it is not being displayed on the results then chances are it was a voided run.
Sector times will show only for the current run and reset at the start of the next.
Inter 1 below shows the position of the timing beam spliting the 1st & 2nd sectors.
A full set of results including overall, class and run times including sectors will be available from the results tab on the sprint page shortly after the event has concluded. We won’t be issuing physical copies of the results at this time.
The Sprint layout is the same for both days with a lapping format, turning right at the base of the hill on laps one and then going up the hill on lap 2 to take the finish. You can see the layout on the diagram above and you can see it in action in the video below. Your untimed practice run also serves as your recon so make sure you are certain of the lapping layout from the information on this page before you go onto track as it should be easy to count to 2 but not everyone can do that under pressure going by previous years!
Event Awards
We will have an awards presentation for class winners and selected runners up from approximately 10 minutes after the last car has run on the event.
