Gone with the wind, literally! We had a very windy day at Cadwell Park for our final round with it being a struggle to keep everything in place at times but thanks to the circuit we managed to get through all of our runs despite the delays and for once at Cadwell it stayed dry! Cadwell is always a popular venue so we were sold out well in advance of the event but it's always good to see new people giving the series a go and plenty of people stopped by to check it out ready for next year. We're quite proud of the group we've created here with everyone supporting each other throughout the series and it certainly helps to draw in new interest with such a friendly paddock.

Kenny Brookes took the 2018 title in the Omega Evo having unofficially secured it at Croft already and by virtue of the dropped scores ended up on a perfect 600 points, Simon Marsh took 2nd place with 577 in the Westfield with Rob Loftus taking the final podium place in the Evo with 567 with a close battle for 4th right behind. Aaron Gaughran secured the Class S title in the Norma with Simon Wallis in the OMS and Tom Gaughran also in the Norma securing the rest of the podium spots. Also on the day we had a tie break situation on the event with two people setting the same times and in Class J5 Tom Jewell in the Audi TT won the class after a tie break with Chris Riley in the Evo which just goes to show how close the competition is.

This year the 'Spirit of the Series' went to Paul Mason who doesn't compete but is always present in the paddock to support Kate and pretty much anyone else who has an issue with their car for the past couple of years, Paul is always willing to get stuck in to help out whether you ask for help or not which is why when we asked for suggestions it was pretty much a landslide. Congratulations Paul, well deserved.

Results from the weekend and for the year are available via the 2018 results page on the main menu which you can also access HERE

Darren from Pistonbroke Photography is taking the photographs for the series this year and as you will see is sharing some of them via the facebook group so if you wish to purchase some high resolution shots of your vehicle on the day you can contact him via raptor8291@aol.com where it is £20 for approximately 50 shots of your vehicle via Dropbox or £23 for a disk to be posted out.

The next thing to happen is we have a well earned rest! You can expect the 2019 regs to be announced around the end of November, a provisional calendar announcement before christmas and the events to go on sale around mid January. We hope you'll come and join us next year for some more sprinting fun.
